Pool filter maintenance must be part of every pool owner’s maintenance and servicing regime. Over time filter efficiency is reduced by a build-up of grease and scale in the filter elements. By using commercial grade products we can remove this build-up, which improves water quality and extends the life of the filter elements.
When we attend to service the pool, we carry out the regular clean and bring your cartridge filter element to our workshop for an acid wash to remove all those nasty contaminants from your filter. We recommend this procedure to be undertaken every 12 months hence we notify our clients of your scheduled service annually.
The total extra cost of this treatment is $99.00 GST INC, this covers the cost of the product, the extra time it takes to add and the return to complete the procedure.

Then we mix up the concentrated formula ( That removes Oil, Bodyfats, Sunscreens and Contaminants from Sand Filters) in a bucket of water and add it into the pump basket then start the system again whilst on rinse, so all the degreasing product goes into the filter. Once this product is in the filter media we leave it off for 24 hours and let the product do its job. We will then re-attend again after at least 24 hours and backwash and rinse your filter again, removing all those nasty contaminants from your filter, setting your equipment back to auto with a super clean filter ready for summer.
